A college student and veteran of the Gantz game. He cleared the game three times and revived his comrade Fujimoto once. Together with Fujimoto, he started to train the surviving girls of the Zoo mission on how to use the suit and guns.

He died during the Aquarium mission when Mermaid Alien stole his H-gun.
He is an alternative version of Izumi Shion from the original series.
