With his mothers death at a young age, Asa became skilled at cleaning, cooking, and at all other aspects of housework. The male side of his family seems to take pride in masculinity and are very unpleased with Asa's feminine skills. After having his dad run off, his grandfather deciedes that Asa will stay at the flower estate as the after taker.
