All of Ayame's family are doctors. He got his license overseas, same as Mikoto. His older brother is the associate director of the Hensei Hospital. His objectives are to get rid of his sibling from the hospital and take over the hospital. He is actually from the Cardiac Surgery, but works a lot with the Pediatric department because it challenges interest him. Being a pediatric surgeon is his dream but his older brother used his influence to make it that no hospital take him as a pediatric surgeon.

He reveals that he had his license revoked while overseas when attempting to perform an unorthodox method to save a patient.

He first appears in the seventh chapter.
