She is one of the main characters of the series. She is a high school Sophomore and a Member of the Mystery Research Club. She serves as the club's Magic Research Representative and is close friends with Kotone, Suzu and Daisuke.

Chiaki is loud, cheerful and playful. She can be reckless and impatient when performing her magic research, and has a tendency to damage magic props and injure her subjects.

Chiaki seems to have a minor crush on Daisuke, evidenced by her Tsundere demeanor towards him in particular.
