Gigei is the dancer from the troop that was going to participate in the festival of the star celebration. She helped out Yasha-ou and Ashura by letting them rest at the troop's camp. Her reason for helping Yasha-ou was because she fell in love with him six years ago on previous festival of the star.

She was killed by Taishaku-ten's soldiers during the festival of the star celebration, because she refused to give away the information of where Yasha-ou and Ashura went to.
