One half of a conjoined twin. She and her sister share a pancreas and a liver. They work part-time at the university where Sugawara studies twins. She hates wearing high heels but is forced to wear them to be able to balance out.

It is later revealed that she finds the job boring but still goes to the university because she likes Sugawara.

During an experiment, the twins were connected to a machine that would react when their thoughts are in sync. Haruko was thinking of Sugawara when the machine beeped, and she immediately realized that her sister also likes him. She promised to continue wearing high heels as "a small punishment" for all the things that her sister has to do for her.
