Hinata suffers from memory loss and forgets things within a 24 hour window unless they were really happy memories; however, basic information such as name, age, family, and academic knowledge is retained.

She is actually childhood friends with Taiyou Natsuki. She proposes an idea to Taiyou to help him forget his unhappy memories after his mother passes away. The plan goes wrong, leaving her and Taiyou with memory impediments.

She gets engaged to Taiyou at the end of the story, and they continue high school as a romantic couple.
