The only other boy in Nagi's class. He dislikes Nagi and doesn't speak with him, because he thinks that Nagi would leave the island after a month of living here. On the contrary Kaito himself plans to leave the island and study in Tokyo university, because the island can't offer any reasonable perspective of future for him. He is hardworking in his studies, attentive to details and oblivious to romance, Kisaragi-sensei mentioned that with such traits of his he could become a lady-killer.
