Keiko's a girl who doesn't fit in with the rest of her class, and who has some rather strange aspirations. For example, she told the attendees at her primary school's parents day, "In the future, I don't want to become anything!", and eight years later she posts on her blog that she thinks she wants to become a prostitute.

She loves to sing, often finding herself doing it unselfconsciously in the middle of the street, and also when she finds that simple words aren't quite enough - specifically with her new friend Asami, the outcast of her school, who heard her shouting at a passing train, "I want to have sex!"
