Satou Makoto, after studying at an all-boys school his entire life, becomes a teacher in his old school with one difference: he is to become the first male teacher in the school's longer-standing all-girls high school section, substituting temporarily for another teacher. Makoto is nervous of being suddenly surrounded by girls, and so he goes to preview the school on an off-day. However, he unexpectedly sees a student sleeping on a desk in a classroom. As he admires her closely, she suddenly wakes up and kisses him on the lips. Immediately afterwards, the girl apologizes and explains she is actually an actress, needing practice for an upcoming kiss scene. Makoto falls for this girl, named Sugiura Ibuki, who turns out to be in his class, despite her low attendance caused by her work.

Satou, who apparently teaches chemistry, is very imaginative when it comes to pretty girls, including his students; he would have sexual fantasies which turn him on (sometimes visibly). Aside from Sugiura Ibuki, he fantasizes of Kondo Kanna, who suspects her teacher of liking Ibuki and grows to be her rival for Makoto's affection; Asuka Iino, who is in the track team in addition to being in the same class as Kondo and Ibuki, as well as a close friend of the latter; Tamai Kitomi, who is in another class, but likes to go to the library in order to write her novels alone; and the principal, who suspects that Sugiura likes her sensei (but unlike Kanna, she does not know about Satou's real feelings toward his student(s)).

Later, the idol's manager discovers that the former is mailing her teacher, and decides to investigate the situation. She secretly watches Makoto on his way to school, witnessing the latter's interaction with students, including Tamai Kitomi, who gives him another novel she has wriiten to review (which causes sensei to complain to himself again, since he is not a literature teacher). Ibuki's manager one day goes early to the school, in order to talk with the principal. Satou sees her coming out, and becomes infatuated with her beauty, believing she might be a student's sister, though he finds odd that the woman wearing a black suit knew his name.
