He was chosen as one of the thirteen representatives for Kengan side on Kengan vs Purgatory tournament.

He fought against Arashiyama Jurota, a fellow Judokai.

In his fight against Jurota it was revealed that Masaki is in fact a clone of Meguro created by Worm. But unlike Meguro, Masaki could control his killing urges and stay sane so he is a clone that surpasses the original one.
