Michiru is a sixteen-year old Hanyou, a cross between a human and a mythical folklore creature, in this case a Yuki-onna, "Snow Woman", which basically makes her half-human, half-yuki-onna. Her heritage makes her extremely weak against the heat and the summer but she is totally fine with the cold, and can walk around the island's freezing mountain tops with practically almost nothing on. Ikuto was staring at her for some reason and we later find out that that is because she resembles Ikuto's sister, Misaki. Michiru currently requires a snow angel which helps her compensate against the heat while walking around outside in the village.
