One of Jin's love interest. She is a high-class prostitute or an oiran in the Yoshiwara red-light district. She also holds the high rank of "yobidashi" giving her special privileges like the right to refuse clients. She initially didn't like Jin, but after witnessing Jin's kind heart she started to fall in love with him.

In later chapters, a retired feudal lord wanted to purchase her freedom to take her as a concubine but it was cancelled after a tumor was found in her right breast. Jin operated on her and successfully removed the tumor. As she was not fit anymore to be an "oiran," she left the Yoshiwara red-light district and became one of Jin's assistant.
