A French domestic servant whom was one of the few people to view Charles as a human rather than a soulless executioner. He is steadfast in his belief that everything he takes must be earned but allows Charles to take care of his son after he is diagnosed with scurvy. He promises to pay Charles back with the money from selling his farming equipment and sets off by horse to his former home with Charles. This is all for naught because his home was torn down and he saw a woman who had stolen his wife, Flora's dress. He and Charles later look through the gates of Versailles, pondering what really makes him so insignificant compared to royalty. Through the time they spent together, he brought Charles to the realization that he wasn't the only one facing such hardships, that there were millions of people bearing pain as great as his.He attacked King Louis XV shortly after enlisting as his servant, cutting his clothes and piercing his skin, but refrains from killing him. His consequence for doing so is death by Écartèlement after being interrogated and tortured for months by Subyss, not a word of anguish slips from his mouth during this time. As he is brought to the public, he witnesses his son Jack, having miraculously recovered from scurvy after Jean-Baptiste operated on his leg. He reveals that he attacked the King not in an effort to execute him, but because he wanted to see what made him so different from common folk, why everyone would submit to someone unless they were truly superhuman, realizing that the King's blood was red just as everyone else. He understands Charles intentions and harbors only feelings of compassion toward him despite the fact he is to be executed by his very hands. No voice actors have been added to this character.
