Ruka, is always keeping his distant towards other, because of his contagious Gravity Power. When someone is attracted towards him, they would also gain the power. Because of the accident of giving his little brother the power of gravity, he decides to live with his Uncle. He felt guilty about the incident that happened to Natsuki, he thought that as his fault. He likes Yumi, but decide not to go after her because she and Natsuki shared a mutual feelings for each other, and he does not want to interfere.he likes Fuuko later on in the series.
