Ryuusei is a male dark tabby cat roaming from town to town searching for Gekka, a male calico with scarred eye. After ending up in Nekonaki Town and fighting Taiga, the leader of the clowder of cats who'd made it their home turf, Ryuusei becomes the new leader. Though he tends to get beaten up at first, Ryuusei usually turns the tables on his opponents when they least expect it. He hates rules and sees no point in following them. His distinctive marks are the star-shaped fur pattern on his belly, and a partially torn left ear.
