Shimantogawa is the other half of the comedy duo called "Bun Bun Phrase" along with Kandagawa, requesting Marumie to work with him in the Bun Phrase's special sideshow called "Laugh! Aliens!"
Working with Marumie, he eventually becomes her close friend. In addition, he loves to tease Kandagawa about his feelings towards Marumie.
