Soutarou is a boy that resembles Rinko's pet deer Bambi. After Rinko cast a magic spell from a magazine that was supposed to bring happiness, he came living in her house. He has a sharp tongue, but he always saves Rinko when she is in trouble, so that she thought he might be an avatar of her pet deer Bambi that was brought to her because of the magic spell.

Soutarou is actually a normal boy. His mother left him when he was in 6th grade without even saying a word to him. After that his father broke and started drinking and playing around every day, until he disappeared as well.
