Yoshino's half cousin, born and raised in Kyoto. She adores Yoshino's grandfather and Yoshino because Yoshino looks so much like her grandfather and as a trusted friend. Personality-wise she is very similar to Kirishima. She has a gentle personality, but is known to have many friends with benefits.


Her mother is the claimed daughter of Yoshino Somei's grandfather and his mistress. In the manga, Yoshino and Kirishima visited her in Yokohama where she plans to attend university. During the visit, Kirishima confirms that Tsubaki has connections in the medical field and is the one who helped with Yoshino's attempt to sell her kidney. However, instead of taking out Yoshino's kidney, Tsubaki took her blood.
