Yuzuki is the young heir of the prestigious but poor Furumidou family, set to marry his childhood friend, Seri. Although Yuzuki likes Seri and doesn't oppose the arranged marriage, she only sees him as a friend and constantly rebukes his attempts at getting closer. Yuzuki is aware of the curse affecting the males in the Furumidou bloodline and can see the ghosts of his male ancestors, who died from this curse and now act as his advisors and protectors to the best of their abilities.
